I am starting a new series on this blog called, you guessed it, “What I use”.

The intent of this series is to show how and why I use certain things. I say things because this series will not be restricted to tech and will include solutions and products in many categories.

I rarely use anything by chance or anything that I have not spend an excessive amount of time researching and weighing the pros and cons of whatever solution or product I find that will solve my problem or needs. I do all this research in part because I usually have a tight budget and I need to find the best product or solution for my money and needs. And in part because the right or the best product or solution is not necessarily the most popular nor the most expensive. And when I do finally make a decision on a product or solution I will periodically challenge that decision.

Needless to say, I have a lot to say about the things that I spend my hard-earned money on.

The first post in this series is coming soon and will be about (NAS) Network Attached Storage.
